Do you ever get a song stuck in your head? For no reason a song will stick and all during the day, it will play over and over in my mind. Sometimes it is pleasant and sparks a cherished memory. Sometimes it is annoying!

It is easier for me to remember songs than memorize Bible verses. That is very embarrassing to admit, but, true. I like to sing old hymns (usually just in my head – silently). They remind me of growing up in a small church and many of them remind me of how to act / serve / behave.

The hymn, Just A Closer Walk With Thee, is a good example. I like to use it as a prayer. (author unknown)

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Refrain:
Just a closer walk with Thee,
