Mantra: a sound, word, or phrase that is repeated by someone who is praying or meditating; a word or phrase that is repeated often or that expresses someone’s basic beliefs. Merriam Webster Online Dictionary, January 26, 2022

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Psalms 17:6

When I get so busy and caught up in daily tasks and activities, I find I forget to do some things I intended to do that day. That is why I make a list! I write it down and carry the list with me or put it in a place that I will notice often.

It gives me comfort to know I can call upon God during my busy day and / or stressful day. I like to pick a mantra for the day and repeat it often. However, like previously stated, I tend to forget. The following is an example of some of the mantras I use.

The first column has names to use to address God. The second column has an action or a prayer request. Pick one from each column and repeat this mantra throughout the day. I have also made small flash cards which I carry in my purse or pocket.

All I ask, is try it for a couple of days. You can come up with your own, this list is just an example. Different things work for different people. This works for me.
