Waiting has never been easy for me. I always needed something to read while I waited.

Waiting for: school to dismiss; band practice to end; soccer practice to end; for the train to pass; for the traffic congestion to ease; at the doctor’s office; at the dentist’s office . . . and the list goes on.

In addition to books, I liked to keep cards with me to read. I have cards with Scripture, inspirational quotes and vocabulary words.
